03/07/2010 4:32 pmI used to go to Taco Loco frequently. One day, while having a burrito at the bar, I pulled a 4" piece of stainless steel scrubber out of the center of the burrito. The bartender saw the whole thing and seemed shocked. He took the plate back to the kitchen and brought me another burrito. I insisted that I no longer had an appetite and appreciate it if they just took it off of my bill. The bartender told me he couldn't do that, so I spoke with the manager who refused. I would not go back to Taco Loco. |

01/05/2009 2:16 amTook some friends here for dinner to try the place out, and it was pretty good, but not great. My wife got a margarita and liked it, so a few nights later went back to watch some football and have a drink during happy hour. She ordered another margarita, which was less in price than the one she had ordered nights before, but it was also proportionately smaller in size. |

09/19/2008 8:10 pmI was visiting a friend in Sacramento during the 2nd Saturday 'celebration' during Sept. 2008 and had the worst service! We were just getting margaritas at the bar, which was not very busy and had 3 people behind the bar, and we had to wait about 15 minutes to get our first round. After about 10 minutes of waiting we wanted to leave, but couldn't because they had taken our card to open a tab and when we asked for it back the bartender (who was apparently the OWNER) said to wait a minute he was about to make our drinks. Once we got our margaritas, two friends joined us and wanted drinks as well so we tried to order two more and the same thing happened again. After about 20 minutes of waiting for the 2nd set of drinks, we were all fed up and had to DEMAND our card back then left. |

04/08/2008 2:46 amNot my favorite Mexican food place, but it's been reliably good for years. The menu has plenty to choose from, with some original offerings. Their nachos are great, and enormous, as are the burritos. The prices are always very reasonable too. Inside it's a bright cheery colorful atmosphere, and outside they have tables for sidewalk dining (great location for that!). |
