If you consider yourself a taco maven, you must give Tacos Colima a try. These are by far some of the best in Santana (and that says alot). As well their tortas are amazing (try the Suedero con todo) and their quesadillas will not leave you wanting: a cheesy, meaty (if you wish), pico de gallo-y delight.

This is a great lunch spot, and some evenings, the mariachi boys from next door's La Sirena will come over to Colima and serenade its patrons.

Tacos Colima has done it again–their pozole blanco has the character of very good, homemade pozole. And at $5.99 a "bowl" (think small pot) their price is inexplicably low for the healthy portions, and honest quality. They only make it on Saturdays and Sundays, so I've had it every other weekend for the past couple of months–either to subdue hangover thrums or because my partner and I want to share a taco and a bowl of pozole. Sigh. Thanks again Tacos Colima.

Food:

Next door to the Mexican Hooters of Santana is this awesome restaurant. Good lord: their Torta de Suedero is out of this world. I recommend "con todo," as the peppers they put in it are fairly mild.
