10/13/2015 3:12 pmI've been going here since I could ever remember. I HATE sopes, hate hate hate them, but I am absolutely in love with theirs. I'll only eat their sopes cause they are just SO good. Their Carne asada is absolutely amazing. Their prices are so good for the amazing food that you're getting. people wait by the door in this small area if it's full just to eat, it's that good. It doesn't get any more authentic than this. everything is good. It doesn't matter what you get to be honest, it's all amazing. The owners have always been so sweet to me whether I'm dining in or getting carry out. Known them since I was only 3 and they're just amazing hard working people who are running an awesome little restaurant. This is definitely a hidden gem. |

09/24/2015 4:16 amI travel from the north side just to have their chilaquiles verdes :9~~~ Luis and his wife make a lot of magic happen in their little restaurant. Quesadillas are very savory with thick masa that's crisp on the outside, soft and mealy on the inside. |

05/18/2015 6:32 pmIt's a hole in the wall place with the most Authentic Mexican food in the Entire City of Chicago. Just like mexico... the simplest of places have the best food (Its more about the art of the food rather than the decor). Highly recommend it. |

03/17/2015 12:20 pmI love this place. Been going here since i was a kid. I went to culinary school for four years and honestly with all the experimentation of going out and eating at other places for Mexican food, it just doesn't come anywhere into comparison with this place. Sure its small and of course a lot of people will say that the food isn't good but in all honesty it is the best food I've ever tasted. Traditional Mexican food with traditional taste. And the prices are cheap for the quality you receive. I love this place. The woman at the counter already knows my family. and when I had a kid his first taco came from there and I hope that they're still there when the next generation comes. |
