Tai Lake is among the best Chinese restaurants anywhere for dinner. Top-notch food, excellent service. Reasonably priced. Eat seafood that was swimming when you got there.

ALMOST DIED OF INTERNAL BLEEDING
I went there last night and ordered Vegan Bean curd with garlic eggplant, and in my dish under a piece of tofu was a flat thin piece of a seashell larger then a quarter, not a clam, not an oyster, a thin sharp razor-ish sea-shell. I took a bite because I didn't see it under my beancurd/tofu and it almost cracked my teeth. If I would of swallowed it, I would of died from internal bleeding. I will never eat here ever again.

Food was absolutely AMAZING!!! Was in town at the Marriott for a convention and wanted something different than a cheesesteak. Obviously where the local chinese go for good food. Service was quiet, professional chinese dining. Very close to the convention center. Outstanding value, highly recommended! Now I wish the rooms in the Marriott had a microwave to heat up the huge amount of leftovers! ALSO the pic on the google map is NOT of the restaurant, go around the corner from there, all glass front.

Open 3PM to 3AM. Best Seafood in Chinatown! First thing you see are tanks and tanks of Live Fish, Frogs, Shrimp and Crabs.The Steamed Shrimp Dumplings and the "Barbequed Scallop" are great Apps. The Hot and Sour Soup Fantastic. The Lobster or Crab with Scallions and Ginger (I like it spicy, you have to ask) are the best ever! Great Crispy Sea Bass. The Cocktails are all around $4.50 and are strong pours. Tasty Frozen Drinks, Pina Colada etc. also $4.50 well made and strong. Service is very good, even when they are "in the weeds".
