I had ordered to go from this place the portion size is too small for the money. The waiter was pleasant to deal with, and the atmosphere was average. The food was below average I had ordered saag paneer and murg vindaloo. The saag paneer was a little sour which is a little unpleasant, and vindaloo was OK spicy as expected but the flavor was missing.

Excellent naan and wonderful vegan menu. The staff is absolutely wonderful and kind. Favorite Indian food around town!

The food was ok but the treatment was bad by the lady who was serving and brought us the check. Wont go there again. The place seems old .

Visited on 6-14-12. Only 1 person working in entire restaurant, handling tables, money, dishes, kitchen, cleaning, etc. All food now pre-made then reheated. Before it was saffron rice served with most dishes--now is regular Wal-Mart brand rice with yellow coloring of some kind. And is old and pasty due to continued reheating. And before was rice serving with each person's dish--now is same single dish of rice but only given for two people with same cost as before when rice given to two. (2 dishes before for two people--now 1 dish same size as old dish for 1, but to be shared for two). And no longer real Indian rice either. Drinks? $2.25 for a 12oz can of coke. No refills. Taj mixed platter is still 13.95, but near half size as before, and just put on chopped onions. Shrimp frozen them thawed then refrozen multiple times turns to a paste like toothpaste. Hey I recognize that Italian sausage served as lamb! I Buy the exact same brand myself at Wal-Mart! The "salad" that comes with the entree? We thought there must be a hidden joke camera nearby. It was on a 3-inch by 1/8-inch saucer, maybe 1/2 inch deep with salad. Easy 4 forkfuls. That was the old sauce dish that is on the menu still, but no longer served with your meal. Servings all cut way back, along with quality. But price increased on most items of course! Naan is charged extra, if you want it, only if you ask for it, per person. Used to be included. Still is in honest Indian restaurants. And does NE have a dual tax system in restaurants? Seems convenient the second tax added after totaling after the first tax, makes the final amount an even-dollar amount. ($33.90 for food/drink, then $37.00 after tax1 and tax2 charged on tax1 total.) And your receipt does not show the items you ordered by name anyway. Then that 'total' listed as Cash. I paid with debit card for the ticket. And I won't be paying anything for any "Indian Food" there again. Save yourself the disappointment. You were warned. That receipt I scanned and added as picture for here above.
