05/02/2015 7:51 am"Creative sushi" and "tasty" Japanese home-cooking basics at a favorable "quality-to-price ratio" earn these TriBeCa–East Village twins "favorite-in-the-'hood" status; a "helpful" staff adds warmth to the "nothing-fancy" setups, which "bustle" at prime times. |

09/20/2013 11:28 amHow I wish they would suck it up and deliver to the other side of West Street to those of us in BPC! Their sushi is great, albeit slightly pricey. The rolls are more adventurous and offer a welcome departure from the traditional 'special rolls' found on every other NYC sushi menu. Their appetizers, namely the dumplings (both varieties) are also excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to dine with the locals. |
Food:
03/22/2013 5:55 pmExcellent selection of sushi and "big maki" rolls. The dishes here are more unique and have more flavor and non traditional ingredients compared to other typical Japanese restaurants. Save space for the green tea mille crepe cake. |

03/16/2012 1:14 pmDecent quality sushi. The scallop appetizer was a bit overcooked, but still very tasty and seasoned well. Their fish is imported directly from Japan, as prominently stated on their menu. The sushi/sashimi combo dinner entree featured a good selection, and the fish was fresh. Service was friendly and very attentive. |
