03/14/2016 1:45 amSatisfying sushi and reasonable price. Service was attentive at the sushi bar. I had the chirashi and seaweed salad. Tea wasn't hot enough, my one tiny quibble. Good stop while traveling. |

01/10/2016 4:06 amSushi rolls were AWESOME but rating a 3 because the service was horrendous. Came here for a friend's birthday dinner and when our waitress served our food, she never came back - I had to walk to the bar to get a refill on my drink because she never checked back in, which was unforgivable because we were the only customers in there. Two waitresses then proceeded to set tables and have a very loud conversation with each other from across the room. Next, we got another waitress who was very nice, yet extremely over-zealous and borderline annoying. Towards the end of our meal, the lights were turned on and they began cleaning the floors! It was only about 9:30 and their posted hours state they don't close until 10:30 on a Friday night. It made us feel very hurried and unwelcome. Service needs improvement, but the maki combo was amazing as well as the other sushi we had. This was at the West side location. |

10/15/2015 11:03 pmHorrendous. While having an opening sake, I was joined at the sushi bar by a very large cockroach. I attempted to point this out to the server, who replied. "Oh, no. Not here." Well the big brown bug came back a minute later, and that was it. I tried the place a few months later, and the fish looked so bad, I understood why the roach left. Never again. |

02/16/2015 5:17 pmI called on Monday Feb 9 to make a reservation for Valentines day on Saturday. My reservation was set for 7 pm for the Hibachi grill. We showed up at 7 and they were clearly not ready for us. They asked us to have a seat until the grill was ready-they needed to bus it. At this point we understood they may have been over booked for Valentines day. And we waited patiently- about 30 min later(7:30) they told us we could have a seat at the Hibachi grill. about ten minutes after that we had to ask for a server to take our drink order. Finally at 7:45 someone came to take my drink order. After waiting 45 minutes for someone to even offer us a drink, or even an apology(which we NEVER got) we left and went to Tutto Pasta-which was delicious! |

01/05/2015 1:01 amWe made New Year's Eve reservations for the hibachi table. We were really disappointed. The food was pretty good, but the service was really bad. They got the drinks wrong to start out with, and the individuals in our party who didn't order hibachi stared at their food sitting on the bar for nearly 30 minutes. We were seated on one side of the hibachi table and the other side was seated a good amount of time after us, and the guy who cooked our food at the grill decided to only cook the food on the grill opposite ours instead of right in front of us. The restaurant was not busy, and in fact, servers were sitting down and eating during the time that we were getting served. When we said something to the staff at the front they refused to give us any money off of our meals (stating that they were shirt staffed) and even added gratuity into our checks so we couldn't even tip poorly. Overall it was just awkward watching the back of the hibachi cook the entire time and just disappointing. |
