This was one of the best meals I have ever had. I came here with a group of friends for brunch and it was amazing. The highlights for me were the bacon pad thai and the breakfast ramen. The flavors in both of these dishes were out of this world. I love asian food and this is truly as good ad it gets. The dishes were unique without being weird and and I enjoyed every bite. This is a can't miss.

Went to try the place for lunch. Had a party of 5. The hostess was rude and said there was no room, that it was "too tight" to fit us in the many empty tables. Instead of suggesting we wait to be seated when a larger table was available, we just got more attitude. I felt totally unwelcome. I will never step foot inside again.

My girlfriend and I were extremely excited to go here. We first made our way to Dale's other restaurant, Pork Slope, to get the chicken and waffles appetizer then to Talde.

When we got to Talde it was quite busy, but we got a seat at the bar and that's when everything went downhill. The bar tender, Day B (what was posted on our bill), was rude and unhelpful. I understand that it was the brunch menu, but all I asked was that if it was possible to get an order of Dale's so highly regarded wings instead of the waffle and wings since we just came from pork slope. The bar tender immediately shut us down and said it couldn't be done. He then went on saying that we could just order the waffle and wings, but without the waffle. His attitude and tone was extremely off putting and soured our experience to the point where I wanted to leave.

The only redeeming factor, 4 stars, was his breakfast ramen, which was cooked quite well and the only thing we ended up ordering.

This bar tender left me with such an unpleasant feeling and ruined our Brooklyn experience. I love Dale and I have always wanted to go to Talde since seeing him on Top Chef, but I doubt I'd ever come back.

Where pretzels meet pork dumplings and hip-hop bangers meet the dining room. Talde serves up savory Asian-American delicacies to the tune of a low-key, yet Brooklyn cool vibe. With a welcoming ambiance for groups of friends and family, portions are built for sharing. The pretzel pork dumplings, kung pao chicken wings, bacon and oyster pad thai, and short rib are all stand-outs. Get there early, put your name in and head to the bar for great service and fun, specialty cocktails - most noteworthy from our Halloween visit: spicy margarita topped off with a skull apple slice.
