My gf and I went to Talula on Valentines Day. Restaurant was not overly busy. food was average, and rather overpriced for how average it was. This night though, the service was terrible. We wont be going back to eat there. We have also been to the bar a couple of time, both those experiences were pleasant. Make sure to try their infused vodka if they have it, it's very good!

We love the atmosphere and staff, and the weekly family entertainment on Mondays has been a favorite with our daughter.

Great food, drinks and the wait staff (Shaun especially) is fantastic. I have been many times and absolutely love it. From the live blues on Thursday nights to the private room for parties - Talula has it all! We stop in a few times a month for dinner or just blues and appetizers, but recently had a bachelorette party with 21 ladies in their back/private dining area. It was absolutely perfect - exactly as I planned!
Shaun was our server (only server for our entire group - drinks & dinner) and was absolutely amazing. We were all so impressed by his professionalism, accuracy, speed and willingness to accommodate. We all vowed to recommend Talula (and Shaun) to our friends and family. Everyone loved the food too - it was great! Shaun was sure to bring out our food as it was ready so we all had hot, delicious meals. He kept all of our orders straight and even split the check for us - there were 21 of us. That never happens, but it was much appreciated! Made all of our lives easier I think. His system of splitting bills is genius too!
Don't let he pink exterior deter you - it really is a great spot!

Talula was absolutely amazing. We saw the restaurant in Madison magazine's listing, and decided to give it a try. The food and drinks were AMAZING. Both of our appetizers were to die for -- we tried the Baked Bruschetta and the Fried Pickles. Really great, spicy Bloody Marys.

The atmosphere is Talula leaves nothing to be desired. Beautiful art on every spare inch, domed ceiling -- our first ten minutes after sitting down were spent looking around!

I feel like I should respond to the bad service disappointment below me. Our server could not have been more attentive to us. We were also greeted and seated by the owner, who was very warm and sassy.

As a student with a tight budget, the meal was a little expensive, but I am absolutely going to go back. The food, atmosphere, and great service are well worth it.
