10/02/2015 6:29 pmIn the middle of a tied Royals game on a Saturday night, they start a band playing in the bar. Isn't this a Sports Bar? The waiter tells me that other customers were angry the band was going to start...but the band was angry because they had already waited 30-40 minutes to play. Last I checked, your customers were more important. You've lost my business, so called Sports Bar. *Update* Came back on here and read the Owner's unprofessional responses to some the reviews...and now I understand why the business runs the way it does. |

09/23/2015 12:42 amThe food was just so......bad. A friend that was with me said the tacos reminded her of school food. Just really poor quality. It didn't taste like anything was made in-house, just prepackaged and tasteless. I'm not sure how they're still open unless happy hour nights when people are drunk and will eat anything. Even when our waitress was asked about the tacos (prior to ordering) she said "they're not the best but not the worst thing I've ever had". Lol at least she was honest. Gordon Ramsey needs to come in and show them what a difference fresh, delicious food can make for customers and the business. |

07/26/2015 2:56 amwent here with two other friends and ordered a pitcher with some appetizer. the appetizers were good but the pitchers were way over priced at $15 for angry orchard and the server did not warn about the price. the place was dead, we only saw our server 3 times from start to finish with only 2 other groups of 4-5 people in the restaurant and 3 outside on the patio, which was insulting to someone who worked in the industry for 6 years. |

05/27/2015 2:20 pmWhen I was single I used to be a Tanners regular and loved the food. Especially the dinner specials. I have been away for a few years and returned to KC recently to find that taco night was quite disappointing. The price went from $.50 to $1.25 each, and that's understandable with the cost of living increase since I was last there. My issue is that they reduced the size of the tacos, so I had to eat twice as many as well as paying more for them. They were so small that my 7 year old daughter ate 5 of them. Service was also disappointing. Our waitress was never around. We kept having to ask other wait staff to find her. The tacos were good though a bit greasy. |
