Very busy for lunch so expect line. Delicious high concept soups and sandwiches. I personally recommend the "Cindy the Boy" ham and cheese sandwich, with an apple chutney. Can't decide on soup? Get a flight and try a little of all of them. Daily specials everyday so keep your eyes peeled.

Tanya's food is as amazing as she is! There isnt a week that I dont stop in to get some of her soup and gluten free items. She makes AMAZING gluten free bread people!

Years ago, Tanya had a great spot downtown. It was said that the city needed the building so she opted to close instead of move, much to the frustration and dismay of her fans. For many years, Wichita was free of Tanya's Soup Kitchen until one day, she decided to reopen in a new spot.

I cannot even begin to convey how happy I was to indulge on Tanya's soups and sandwiches again. Tanya is an amazing chef and is an artist with her soups. They range from heavy to light, sweet to savory, and even include vegan and vegetarian options. Cross a bowl of soup with a sandwich (the Blue Key North is my personal favorite) and I'm in heaven. Toss in some of her AMAZING bread pudding and you've got one tasty meal.

Be warned that it is a little pricey and there is often a long line, but the quality of food is absolutely worth it.
