I've been going to El Mogote for years and I can still say that they've really good tacos. My family typically gets the steak tacos and it's great every time we order. It's a bit pricey compared to other taco places, but it's well worth it. They also have good burritos. Every time I go there, I get great service and the food does not take long at all. I recommend everyone to go to this place. Really great food and it's BYOB.

Not a huge fan of the steak only because it's not the way I like me steak cut for tacos, enchiladas, etc and its rather chewy but on the other hand I went in on a Saturday because I read the reviews about breakfast. I got the carmelized pancakes, an omelet and a side of bacon to go. I was not disappointed! I am not a big fan on of the few dinner choices I have had but the brunch is amazing. This is a local spot for me and I will definitely be back.

This place gets 4 stars, but only a 7 out of 10 as far as the tacos are concerned. THe horchata was home made and the BYO, small latin cafe feel is great. Now to the tacos. The fish taco flavor was great, toppings were good, but the salsa was runny causing the homemade tortillas to become a bit soggy. This also was not helped by the single tortilla they used versus the normal doubling up that keeps a mess from occurring. The cocinita pubil was very flavorful as was the al pastor , but they suffered from a bit of the soggy tortilla problem as well. The price was good at $2-3 a taco.

This place just got a makeover! The decor is modern but cozy and the food is still fantastic. The Albany Park Burger has just the right amount of spice as does the ketchup with chiles. Best part aside from food is it is BYOB! You can bring your own tequila and they provide Margarita mix in 6 different flavors. Staff is super friendly can't wait to come back!
