I love Tastees. One of the best double cheeseburgers you'll ever eat. Terrific breakfast. And the family and employees are very friendly ... I eat there almost every time I'm in Memphis

The food is Awesome! (have eaten from both sides...the buffet and the grill & have had the breakfast)

Other than the food the whole environment is Awesome from the owners to the staff to the regulars there...It is like the show *Cheers* (where everyone knows your name (we might not know everyones name but we all know each other))

This place is HORRIBLE!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO FEEL VERY VERY VERY SICK AND WEAK ALL DAY THEN YOU SHOULD GO THERE!!! THATS ALL I CAN SAY CAUSE I AM STILL ABOUT TO THROW THE FOOD UP!!!!!!

I wish I could give a negative 5 star rating above. First I walk in and being from out of town I wanted to taste the potato salad. In a very rude and smart alack tone the white guy taking the order says, "No we can't do that". Nevertheless we place our order. I usually go to Toms or interstate, but I just wanted to try something new. At first the black guy was nice. All of the sudden I guess this girl thinks I'm staring at her because her face because it's burned. I'm 39, and I glanced, but that's about it. Seems she feels a lil insecure. Next the cook, the guy that was nice at first, and the lady whose face is burned start whispering to each other. Me and my friend that's with me started both noticing that orders are coming out before ours that ordered way after us. The lady with the burn scars (assuming, hoping not to make an a$$ out of you and me) has become very stone faced and hiding with our food. Next the cook leaves the grill (female) and goes to the back I guess for whatever. Then she comes back laughing and whispering to the black guy. (I'm black emyself). I and my friend noticed every time they get through laughing and whispering they almost simultaneously look our way, and turn back around and start laughing and whispering. I could read their lips exactly, but from what I could it's like they where doing something to our food. My friend agrees. The place has several people in it other than us. I agree that it's just better to get our money back, and we just leave. I go to the white guy and ask for my money back, with exception of the drinks which we filled ourselves and had already begun to drink. He asks why and I tell him because I don't like the attitudes in this place. It seems they didn't want to work anyway. He gives us our money back, and we leave. I wouldn't feed my dog in this shack!! No way ever again will I go there!!! Trust me or not that's on you, but I'm originally from Atlanta, Ga, but I've resided in the Middle Tn area for about 26 years, so I have nothing personal against anybody here. I really believe the cool went to the bathroom or at least in the back to do something funny to our food. And I never really write reviews good or bad. I just read them. Eat and be weary!! If you get on their bad side your food is likely to be tampered with!! I'maInterstatBBQ bbq
