Taste Of China, Madison, Wisconsin Restaurant Details

Food:

I have been ordering food from this place since 2009 (well over 50 visits)and have NEVER had a bad tasting or poor quality dish from this small family run restaurant. I love their new on-line ordering very convenient. The ME FUN noodles are the bomb!

Food:

As a small business owner, one should always try to capitalize on growth opportunities. Unfortunately this one doesn't. As a student at the Monona Grove High School, we are working on a project to connect many of the small businesses to the local Monona community. When reaching out to The Taste of China, the woman on the phone was very rude; considering we were asking for a few fortune cookies. Growing up in the Monona community and being a regular customer, It's sad to say that you don't have the decency to get involved in the community... Shame on the management at the Taste of China!

Food:

The food here is always delicious. They cook the vegetables perfectly. The mooshoo chicken is my favorite, but we have never ordered a dish we didn't like. The service is always friendly and the prices make it an affordable meal for those nights when you are starving yet too tired to make dinner. The portions are big so there is almost always lunch for the next day.

Food:

If you're a general fan of Chinese food (as opposed to Thai) and breaded chicken (e.g. General Tso) then you'll really like this place. The food does not come off as cheap and is not overly fried or doused in syrupy sauce.
I've gotten the General Tso's chicken several times and the sesame chicken once, and have not yet been disappointed. You also can't beat a $5.25 lunch special. The kitchen looks really clean and the staff are really, really nice.

AND GET THE PORK FRIED RICE!

Their food is wonderful, fast service and CHEAP! I always order from their lunch menu and I think it's $5 or 6 - it is lunch for two or three days! Only thing that's a little tuff is understanding what they're saying.
