04/15/2015 2:51 pmFabulous fried full belly clams. I'm from Boston(originally) and these clams at Taylor's are exactly the way they should be. |

09/07/2014 3:01 pmThe deep fried oysters are plump and juicy as advertised, but flavor was bland. I don't eat salty foods, but I had to dab salt on because it was missing something. We also tried the fish and chips since they raved about them on their website, but were disappointed. Fish was a little dry, batter was okay. The only good dish was the clam chowder. They had one cook and one waitress, so the wait was 15 minutes to be seated (of about 15 tables, only 3 were occupied) and no one to answer the phone. The only reason we waited around was because we already drove 25 minutes to try their oysters since few restaurants serve them fried. Poor waitress appeared frazzled, running back and forth from kitchen to table. The owner needs to hire additional staff and cook if he wants a successful business. I'm glad I tried it because at least I know now not to go back. |

08/25/2013 4:51 pmThe only Waitress in the restaurant was rude. The ice tea we ordered tasted bad. She said that it was there when she got to work and no one else seemed to have a problem with it. The food was okay but not worth the price's they are charging. The restaurant looked like it could use a good cleaning it was dingy and looked very outdated. When we was given our check the waitress also said she had some candy for us and left a small amount in a little cup. As we were leaving and we had just got into our car the waitress came outside and was trying to get our attention. We wondered what was wrong only to find out the problem was she was mad that we had taken the candy that she had just given us. I still haven't figured this out. We will never go to this restaurant again. |
