03/22/2013 11:56 pmHad not been here since before they changed ownership. I noticed they have a Thai menu in addition to the Chinese menu they had before which was a surprise. Though it turned out to be a pleasant one. I had the yellow curry chicken and it was excellent and the service was great. We had a large party and everyone had similar comments about the food being really fresh and tasty. This place is definitely a well kept Belmont Shore secret for the moment at least. We had the whole place to ourselves when we go there at 7pm on a Friday night. So the word is not out yet. This place is worth a try if you have not been here recently. I am definitely going to come back and try some of the Chinese items next time. Note this is not a fusion menu, it is Thai items and Chinese items, *not* Thai-Chinese items. :) |

04/01/2012 10:42 pmI love this place, Tea Garden is a great place for family. I've been coming here my whole life. Take out is great too.... my inlaws also love this place. Spare ribs and barbeque pork are awesome. They also do you have a great chow main and egg fu yung. Thank you Rose for serving such great food! |

01/02/2011 1:09 pmI ordered the orange chicken combination dinner. We started off with the egg drop soup which was really good. Then the waitress brought me fried shrimp which was kind of bland. The main course came with fried chicken pieces with orange sauce on top with a side of rice. The rice needed soy sauce to give some flavor. Also, I've had better microwaved orange chicken. To say the least I will not be returning to this restaurant. |

02/25/2008 9:23 amI work a couple of doors down from here and cannot resist it. The Chow Mein instead of having noodles has sprouts, bok choy and celery. If you order the soft noodles for $2 more, you will not be disappointed. Everyone I work with is hooked on the Orange Chicken, while I commit my shrine to the Pineapple Spare Ribs and the Pork Chow Mein. The Egg Drop (or is it Egg Flower) soup is to die for and with this cold/flu going around that huge bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup has come in more than handy. The egg rolls are heavy but crisp and I'm a sucker for the fried shrimp. The decor is 80's, the music is light jazz, and you'll probably see me there tomorrow night! |
