First, they bring you house made fresh hot flour tortillas, with homemade salsas, and queso!!! Then I had the Pollo Ranchero and it was out of control! Everything was so good and fresh and hot! If I lived in OKC, this was be my go to Mexican spot!!!

Best Mexican (Tex Mex) I've found in Okc, which isn't saying much really.

Here's the trick (as I do at most Oklahoma Mexican restaurants), get atomic and other salsas and mix to make your own salsa for the meal. Otherwise sure it's bland, because they make it for the average Oklahoman.

The difference is the ingredients don't turn your stomach like the low quality ones used at most of the other Mexican restaurants in Okc.

Was very busy the night we went, but seated quickly. Chips and tortillas were awesome. Food came out quickly... both fajitas and chicken tortilla soup were delicious. Service was above par. Will definitely return!

I'm blown away by what some of these recent reviews say. Bland food? Bad aromas? Crazy talk.

I've been going to Ted's for probably 20 years since I was a tyke. It was the first Tex-Mex I ever had and to this day, despite travelling all over the southwest, I still think it's the best.

Everything tastes so fresh, from the queso dip and salsa to the fajitas and enchiladas. And oh man the fajitas; you just can't beat em. Grab a double order and you can eat for days. It's all so delicious and homemade tasting, even the enchiladas and tacos. It's all good.

Ted's has stood the test of time by consistently offering amazing tex mex in big portions, all freshly made in the kitchen. And speaking of freshly made, the tortillas! Handmade from scratch on the other side of a large viewing window by the waiting area. So cool.

I might have gotten carried away, but I had to have my say. Ted's is delicious. This is where you bring your out of town friends when they ask for good tex mex.

I don't understand others blind love for this really bad joke of a Mexican Restaurant???

Went there when I moved back to Oklahoma. I ordered a Burrito. It came with the usual accompaniments, refried beans and rice on a HUGE plate
The thin layer of rice and beans looked like they had been spray painted onto the plate!!!
The tiny Burrito in the middle, looked like it was stranded on a remote island, surrounded by a sea of rice and beans.
BLAND, BLAND, BLAND AND EVEN MORE BLAND!

To his credit, the manger was very nice and sent out a few extra items from the kitchen. It did help a bit, because the Burrito costs and arm and a leg and I really felt ripped off!!!
Yet, every year this joint wins Best Of Oklahoma City Mexican Restaurant!!!!

ONCE WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ME!!!!
