Temple Bar, Scottsdale, Arizona Restaurant Details

Food:

Bar tender charged me for another persons drink. When I told him he got pissed so I tipped him a dollar and he put it down as 5. Reported him to better business bureau.

Food:

Food is extremely overpriced for the quality, group of four of us were never served by anyone for the hour and a half we were there. Had to order food and anything else at the bar. Just an altogether bad experience. Find somewhere else worth spending your money at.

On Saturday evening 9/29/12 at 9:30 pm my husband and I decided to take family visiting from out of town and had just arrived from Oklahoma to your establishment for a late evening of food and drinks, their were five people in our group. We sat a table with my husband and I on one end and my family from Oklahoma on the other end. My husband and I have been to Temple bar before and enjoyed ourselves in the past so I thought it would be a nice evening.
We were "helped" by a waitress who never provided her name and seemed to hate her job. She was about 5'4 with shoulder length light blonde hair pulled up into a pony tail and wearing a white shirt with shorts. We all ordered dinner and drinks, my family members decided to order the bucket of beers, while my husband and I each order our own drinks. After about 15 minutes our food was delivered and another bucket of beers were ordered.
After this the waitress service went to crap she never came back to check on us. She didn't check on us to see if we needed further drinks nor to ask us if need needed anything else. My husband had to get up and walk to the bar from our table and order a drink separately. No napkins or silverware was provided, until she delivered the food and then only brought the napkins the silverware was wrapped in.
We sat with empty drinks in front of us for 30 minutes (I tried to make eye contact with the waitress who sat by herself folding napkins around silverware instead of checking on us of which she avoided) before I had to actually go up to the bar and ask for our bill. At this time I asked to speak to a manager. The lady working the bar told me she was the manager and when I explained to her what happened she stated "I don't understand what the problem is" even thou I clearly explained how our table was ignored, how the waitress made no attempts to check on us, and how she was very unfriendly and you could tell she hated her job. The "manager" even called the waitress over and I confronted her, your waitress didn't even apologize and no discount was provided! Also why should I have to confront your waitress???? Seems to me the "manager" was covering up for this girl and wasn't a REAL manager.
My husband payed the bill that came to $105.00 (should of been treated better with that bill) and left her a $10 tip for fear she would mess up our credit card in vengeance after me confronting her.
I want to know that I have never been treated so horribly by any waitress and to force me to confront her when she was clearly in the wrong...what kind of business practice is this? I would like to know if this is your normal practice to treat your customers so horribly? If so I plan to make my friends and family aware of the horrible service your establishment provides!

Unbelievable food and service. Great place to hang out. Even became friends with most of the waiters. Great place to watch football and other sports

Food:

Two bags courts.. nice bags and boards. Pretty decent food and beer selection. Outdoor patio is great when it's not overrun with smokers.
