Lesser of all evils.

There are many Chinese restaurants around Temple main campus. Unfortunately none of them are very good and sadly that makes Temple Garden the best. The prices are what you'd expect from your average Chinese restaurant. The food is good (though sometimes mediocre). The service is terrible.

And the service is truly terrible. Whether it means waiting two hours for delivery or missing items, there is always something to be upset about. Prices will also be randomly raised without being fixed on the menus. And like almost all Chinese restaurants the staff seem to use the language/accent barrier to their full advantage.

Despite all the bad, it does have the best DELIVERY Chinese food. I can't speak for the Take-Out places. But when you're the best of the worst does it still matter?

The food is the best I've had in philly. I wonder if temple garden and city garden are owned by the same people, the food tastes similar but at temple garden its reasonably priced whereas city garden is totally overpriced. Temple garden food it amazing but it takes forever when you have it delivered! Every time we get it delivered it takes about an hour, no matter what time of day
