Menu was without one page. We ordered food and waited for it 35 mins. Sushi wasn't good. Service is ok.

I admit I was like everyone else, passed by a few times, peering through the window and thought this place was pricey due to the nice decor. But finally tried it out with my brother and this place is pretty damn good. Their lunch specials are exceptionally affordable and generous as well as their regular dinner menu. Good date and family spot with full bar. I've tried the sushi buffet place few blocks away and it was more expensive and the food, like all buffets are not all fresh. Give it a shot! Good places like these deserve the attention on 18th av.

And no I'm not paid to write this, look at my other reviews and you'll see there are a lot of personal bad blood with businesses that I share

A great sushi restaurant they recently expanded into a bigger space to offer a big bar selection. They have good fresh sushi and great bento box deals. They're also a great place to host a birthday party and my family has had several here when I was growing up. At their old location my father once, at the end of the dinner, bought two live lobsters from the store next door and forced the cooks to cook them. They were fairly accommodating of such an insane request. The staff is very friendly and has a sense of humor as evidenced by some of the signs in the restaurant.

These "neighborhood staples" turn out "solid sushi" and other "basic but tasty" Japanese fare at a "bang-for-your-buck" price point; since their decor's "nothing to write home about", it's no wonder that they do a brisk "take-out and delivery" business.
