12/21/2014 6:09 amMy friends and I tried this place because we were in the neighborhood and saw a review that mentioned some kind of non-specific "vegan option". When we mentioned that to the server, not only did the lovely woman in the kitchen make us fresh batches of vegan pierogi - one of cabbage, one of potato, with a side of extra chunky applesauce - but they also gave us each a free vegan potato pancake as a sample. Everything was great and the meal, including a hot drink for each of us, came to $10 per person with tax and tip. The only thing that could make it better was if there was some kind of vegan sour cream or other sauce so the pierogi didn't seem so naked, but it hardly mattered because they were so fresh. Both kinds were great but if you can only get one, go for the cabbage. |

08/14/2013 1:29 amMy girlfriend and I stopped in today to grab a bite to eat. It was delicious! An authentic, home-cooked polish meal. We got the Polish Plate and it was enough for us both. She is so nice and her prices are very reasonable. Whether you are Polish or not, it is worth stopping in. |
