Everyone might be wondering why a single star? If there were such thing as a Zero Star this is what I would have rated this place and here is my Story.

I have eaten here Hundreds of times in the past and each time the food was consistent, Today was an adventure. I ordered Two Chicken Noodle Bowls to go, Walked back to my office and later found there was either too little sauce or there was none at all but judging from the flavor it appeared that Sauce was completely forgettin.

After two bites and digging to the bottom looking for the same sauce the last hundred time, it was clear the sauce was left out. I put the lid back on and confirmed with another colleague they noticed similar in their to go container. We walked back to the place and went up to the counter to ask the Lady to fix it or provide a new Batch, Asking for a new batch was preferred for obvious reasons.

The Lady asked me, "what would I like to do?" Have more Sauce or make a new batch. Because I don't know the Recipe, I asked for a new Batch which made more sense, After I said that she said she would NOT do it? She supposedly watched me sit down eat half of both containers then take it to go only to come back to ask for another whole portion for both containers?!!, NONE of this was True and She fabricated it and made a repeat customer sound foolish at the counter. Everyone that was at the counter clearly heard me ask to Fix it in a polite and respectful manner, I was not there to make a big scene over Sauce. I simply wanted to have it the same way I have had it several hundred times before. You would think that one would know if something is wrong if ordering the same thing 100 times before.

Apparently the lady refused to make two new batches and also refused to provide a full refund which is what I had asked for if they could not make a new batch. The entire time they had both containers which were exactly 4 Bites in or well over 3/4 full, How is this NOT ripping a customer off?

I also said that i would never eat here anymore because they clearly lied about me sitting down to consume half of both containers before walking out and that there was nothing wrong with the two portions. I would not have wasted my time to pack the containers back up to walk 10 minutes back only to be accused of eating half of it and wanting more sauce if it were not at all TRUE. I reminded the Lady she has seen me in there eating 2 - 6 times a month for over 5 years and on many occasions have taken the same order to go with not one complaint.

I just wanted what I had ordered. I Stormed out angry at the fact that a long time customer could be treated with such disrespect and I am sure everyone heard me say, It was highly unprofessional of them to tell me they witnessed me sitting down eating then leave only to come back after half of both my containers was gone.

I will NEVER EVER go back, They did not refund me and they have the Shitty Food they served me and did not FIX what sounded like a very simple customer complaint. What should have happened is, they should have aplogized for wasting my time and provided a fresh portion and send me on my way instead of arguing about the Food they served wit No sauce and accusing me of eating half of it looking for a free meal midway through.

They have lost a customer for life and I bet they don't care one bit because in front of everyone that heard me be polite about it, was probably just as shocked about the Lady arguing over not enough Sauce! Unbelievable and very difficult to understand how any establishment can operate in a way that this one does.

I never would have thought I would write a bad review about any place but this one tops it for the Worst customer service in the Downtown Area so far.

I never got my money back and I never ate lunch today.................... I now hate "Teriyaki To Go" and its also a place I will never go again. That lady is unbelieveably rude and said it doesn't matter whether I eat there again? wow, some way to treat a long time customer right? NEVER AGAIN PEOPLE

I used to LOVE T to Go and ate their weekly (sometimes more than once a week), loyally, for six years and raved about them to all my friends.

One day about a year ago, I ordered the same old beef rice bowl with broccoli and when I bit into it my broc was still FROZEN. Literally ice cold.

When I went up to the counter to let them know what happened, despite the fact that they knew me well enough to know my order before I get to the counter, they were super rude to me and REFUSED to do anything about it.

They told me that they have always served the broccoli that way. I put the broc into the chef's hand and said, "it is ICE COLD, its not cooked!" and he repeated that it was fine.

I asked if they could cook the food I already have, give me a new bowl, or at least give me a side of cooked broc. They refused.

I asked for my money back and they refused. Finally I said, "I have been coming here years and ordering the same thing and you are going to tell me that you serve people frozen broccoli and I should just shut the f*ck up and eat it?" He nodded, then turned and walked away.

I will never go back again. I still crave it once in a while but I cannot bring myself to put another dime in their pocket. I wish it were not so because it feels like losing a friend.

My review from November of 2007, oh how things have changed:

Ive been going to Teriyaki to Go regularly (at least once a week) for almost seven years. TTG is one of my favorite places in town to eat because they are tasty, quick, and cheap.

If you are looking for something Vegan or Vegetarian, check out their Tofu Rice Bowl. It's best if you ask them to add vegetables or broccoli. Their tofu is very firm and doesn't have that squishy texture that most people despise about tofu.

Aside from their tofu, they also have really good beef. I generally order the beef noodle bowl or rice town with extra broccoli and I am never disappointed.

Their portions are perfect. Their prices are reasonable. Their location is convenient.

The only drawback is that they get SUPER crowded during lunchtime, and the woman who works as cashier gets cranky and yells at you. She's not very pleasant. But the food is more than worth it.
