Deciding on the Terrace Restaurant for my June 25th, 2011 wedding was the best decision I ever made, coming a close second behind choosing to marry my loving husband. Patti Stowers was Godsent, helping me plan my wedding in Indianapolis all the way from Philadelphia. Patti kept my personality in mind when choosing details for my wedding, right form picking the right color linens and flowers to deciding on minut details such as how to arrange the candy bar. My price range was not a factor to having a beautiful wedding. She made sure we were able to achieve a serene, city-feel, eye-opening ceremony and reception while keeping the romantic, intimate feel of a wedding. The gorgeous view of downtown Indianapolis definitely helped achieve this. Guest after guest complemented on the delicious food which we put extreme effort into, especially the childrens menu option. Patti was very relaxed through the whole process (1 year planning period), always providing a solution to whatever problem I threw her way. She even provided emmotional support when needed, calming my nerves during the last few days and the day of the wedding for which words cannot express my gratitude. She also provided vendors that were influential to having a wedding that expressed our personalities from our wedding officiant to our DJ. There were no questions on vendors I asked her about that she could not answer. She was always honest when it came to the financial aspect and that helped us stay on track with budget. As a perfectionist handing over a lot of decisons to someone else was a hard thing to do, but staff at the Terrace let all my ideas be carried through to the details, and which girl getting married doesn't want that.

I had my wedding and ceremony here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The food served was not what we ordered, they lost my hand written vows (the ONLY thing I asked them to be accountable for that day), I had to call THEM to chase down how to pay them my final deposit as well as ensure they had my count and seating chart and the Thursday before my wedding they finally said they could make time to iron out details (like what the seating would look like and many other details they must assume are not a big deal). Please save yourself the pain and go elsewhere.
