08/30/2015 8:23 pmBeen coming here for a very long. The food and service has stayed consistently good. This is probably the best source for good German food and beer in the area. Menu consists of largely authentic and traditional German food. Decor has a good old charm and service is friendly and efficient. Prices at first seem a little on the high side until you realize every dinner is a four course meal with a rotating soup and salad of the day and of course strudel for desert. Overall if you are in the mood for German food its definitely a compelling choice. |

07/24/2015 10:52 amI've never had a meal here that I did not thoroughly enjoy. The decor of the buildings interior makes you feel like you are in Germany. The beer's are served in proper glasses not generic pints. The wait staff has always been great and accommodating. Oktoberfest is a busy time here but worth the wait when its busy. |

03/22/2015 6:00 amFirst time here, it was pretty confusing at first because my friends and I wanted to sit down to eat around 11pm on a Saturday night and we were waiting to be greeted by a hostess, but no one show up :( So, we just went to the bar and chilled and ordered a round of beers. I wish they could've been more helpful with the seating and dining situation. Overall, it was a cute little hangout space where you can invite your friends and make cheers all round. |

10/01/2014 10:59 amBeer here is pretty good! I had the Franziskaner Hefe-Weizen. It was pretty smooth with very little hop bitterness. Ordered Schweine Haxe. It was pretty well baked with tender meat and the rich tasted fat. Waitress was really nice to make it lunch portion. |

07/01/2014 3:24 pmI went for the sake of a good friend, but was not satisfied at all. To start their bar is very mediocre, more bottled beer offered over on-tap. Although I cannot argue that the beer wasn't tasty. Second, over priced beyond over priced. $15 for two wild boar sausages, few little potatoes, and some distasteful sauerkraut. They also ran out of certain food items such as the buffalo burger. Unprofessional in the restaurant business. Because of the party size, waitress gratuity at 18% which makes perfect sense actually. However she still asked if I wanted change, and apparently cannot count because all I received was a few dollars, no coins. The principle of stealing extra money from me like that, not cool. I should mention, the food item I chose was on the "smaller" plates. The other limited options pricing ranges from $22 to $30 per person. Just take your family and friends to a fancy Chinese restaurant, you may spend the same amount however the food portion more than likely will match your wallet. |
