Its on its way of becomeing a great place, for home style cooking. The Hamburger steak was beyond satisfying proportion. Home made mash was off the chain. The country fried chicken was crisp and juciy and all man just good. Cream gravy tops it off.......I hope it remains that way for years to come with good food and quality service.

Huge shrimp. Loved it since I was a baby.

I have been going to this place with my grandmother since I was young. Now that she is older and lives out of town I take her plates to-go. I also bring my own kids. It's the best!

I have been going to this restaurant since I was young. My dad would take us every paycheck. Back then it was just called "Texan". I have never had a bad experience here. Food is always hot and great. Their tartar sauce is one of kind. My husband always gets the chicken fried catfish which is no longer on the menu but he always asks for it and they never tell him no. I loved the old school decorations which they got rid of but no biggie. My tradition there is to always play a song from the jukebox. My favorite song to play was "There's a tear in my beer". They no longer have that same jukebox but the new one is just as good. I have so many memories here and I still continue to go along with my little family. I still love to bring my parents here as well. If this place ever closes I would be very saddened.

Had great service and great food had been there before the new owners and was not impressed then but now with these new owners they have great food , and recommend the chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken.
