All Texas Roadhouses across the country are usually very good, thats they're job. This one had good food as well, the service was not so great and a few menu items needed to be remade because they were not served hot or were not served at all. As an apology he gave me enough rolls and cinnamon butter to kill a small child. For that we thank you. :)

The food was medicore, prime rib tasted funny. The next morning I got sick and felt bad all day.Don't go here if you don't want food poisoning.

I'm a little baffled by all the super positive reviews.

Take the drive to Texas T-Bone on south academy. It's worth it to avoid this one.

The hostess looked passed us instead of greeting us on our way in to let the person leading us to our tables know the number she should take us to then went right back to whatever was pre-occupying her. She also didn't notice us on our way out. We left by ourselves, no one around just her slurping her drink doing a whole lot of nothing. My wife is a server and I can say that's just being lazy.

I'm not usually into the kinds of places that encourage throwing peanut shells on the ground but I can get over my yuck factor if they clean the shells up with some regularity. The table we were led to had not been swept under in several customers, to the point in which a cloth napkin and sliver ware had been left under and next to our table. Would have just walked out but my wife wanted to give them a chance simply because of how crowded the place is. I kicked a fork, several napkins and a veritable pile of peanut shells out from under my table. We also had to walk through a field of shells all the way from the front (remember that hostess that wasn't doing anything?).

While that's bad it's not enough to give it my low rating. The real issue is: the food here is just not good enough to justify the price. Boneless hot wings are laughably mild. The side shrimp we got with her steak were spicier than the hot wings. How does that happen? The waitress admitted there is little difference between mild and hot on their wings. Even when we hat a side of the hot sauce it added vinegar but little spice. Filet steak was unfortunately ruined by over-salting and over-seasoning. Doesn't matter how good the cut is if you drench it in allspice...Medium rare was instead rare to the point of being dangerous. Tasted better cold as a sort of tar-tar after we got home. My wife was so disappointed by the steak that I just watched her feed the last few pieces to our dogs which is not something I ever thought I'd see done to a filet. The ribs instead of being a tangy bbq like most places uses a bizarrely over sweet bbq. This would be fine (I've got no problem with doing something differently) except that it says nowhere on the menu that it was sweet bbq so it was highly off putting which was a bit sad because they were cooked great.

The rolls folks are raving about were dry like they were sitting in the heat lamps too long which is really surprising because the place was packed so why were they sitting in the lamp so long?

70 dollars for 2 people, just sub-par for this price.

The music made it difficult to have a conversation with my wife when coupled with everyone else shouting to be heard.

The runner forgot one of our sides and the music caused confusion with the order so a full rack became a half rack in translation.

As we packed up our food into 3 boxes for later fixing up at home, we had gag moment as we noticed the bottom of the fries had the dregs of multiple other fried foods, my wife identified it as chicken tenders, where is it ever ok to reuse the wax paper in the bottom of a basket? Or for that matter not dump out a fryer basket before cooking a different food? The oil was so filthy it had burnt to a crisp fry guts..I'm not talking one or two pieces here. The whole bottom of the fries were bits and pieces of mix and match non-potatoes fused to my potatoes.

The server fixed what we were willing to wait on her fixing. (didn't send the steak back because we really wanted to get out of there). She comped the second part of the ribs which was fine. We gave her the standard 20 percent tip we usually do no complaints with her. None of the mistakes were her fault so that's something. Good job Michelle, you salvaged a star.
