DON'T EAT HERE!!! Horrible place! Ordered tamales and got violently ill after eating two. MAJOR HEALTH VIOLATIONS according to the HEALTH DEPARTMENT. Not worth one star, but had to select it to be able to post this.

The only delicious thing there are tortillas, barbacoa and pan that's about it. The waitresses are so rude and give you attitude. I ALWAYS get ignored because they're more nice to the male clients

The bar continues to be raised each and every time I eat out in the Westside neighborhood of San Antonio. The barbecue lamb was like nothing else I have had in this country. Very tender with good flavor. It was neck bone with a few vertebrates left in. The bones were ok because it showed that the lamb was fresh and prepared right. Corn tortillas were not homemade but came from the tortilleria machine which were not bad. Got five instead of the standard two or three. Chips and salsa could be the best in the city. Music played in restaurant and telanovela to entertain. Ranchero, Banda, and a mix of salsa from the Mexican coast. Waitress was very attentive. A great place to practice my Spanish. The not so good was the rice which was so/so and the refried beans lacked flavor. The best part is the price. $12.50 barbecue lamb plate, coffee, and big ol' piece of flan to top it all off. Time to loosen to another notch off the old belt.

Menudo Tibio, big bone in without any nerve. Frijoles "fritos" aguados, sin queso, frios, never pic up Durty dishes, never knew Waitress Name . No more.
