I should have known it wouldn't be good when the menu said that it was "Asian Fusion", that usually isn't a good thing. Then, the fact that they didn't even know what Tom Ka Gai is. IMO, the Green Curry was too sweet, and the Pad Thai had a funny flavor.

I have been driving past this place for years and decided to stop in on my way home from work last night.

It is a rather large place with lots of tables, but there were no other customers when I walked in, in fact the were surprised when I said I was eating there. After sitting is a chair that definitely did not fit the table, I noticed I could not smell food. Is this a good thing for a restaurant? I am a huge fan of Vietnamese egg rolls and combination rice noodle bowls so that is what I ordered. The egg rolls looked like they had been cooked and recooked. They were served cut in half and all the ends were dried out. I was told they were beef but they tasted like chick liver and the texture was awful. I did not eat them and the server was very put out that I did not like them.

The rice noodle bowl, while a nice portion size, was as equally unappetizing. The chicken was old and dried out, the shrimp was over cooked and the beef was dry and tasteless. The noodles and the veggies were good though.

Since I was the only customer in the place, the lady at the counter sat and watched me the whole time I was eating.

When the check arrived, I was charged for the egg rolls but given a partial courtesy discount... Hmmm. I took the remainder of my food with me but threw it in a trash can later.

Go to the Spicy Chili Thai restaurant on Mexico and Chambers, they are much better.
