My favorite Thai food place in San Diego. Very reasonable and I like all the people who work there. I have been to Thailand so I have some knowledge of Thai food.

Food:

Best Thai food in San Diego. Ever dish is fantastic. I've been a happy customer since 2012. For desert try the house fried banana with a scoop of coconut ice cream. Awesome.

atmosphere of thai house is a bit awk:
1. multiple shades of pink all around the restaurant (napkin, chairs, walls... etc.)
2. xmas jazz music still on. hello?! it's 01.01.11.
3. thai religious figure in the middle of the restaurant dressed in santa costume... confused religious identity?!
4. cloth napkins?! woah, i didn't know thai dining was so fancy.

now onto the food:
1. thai fried rice: what's with the massive amount and chunks of bell pepper?!
2. tom yum soup: what's with the massive amount and chunks of bell pepper again?!
3. pad thai: chicken was dry. but overall was good.
4. mango with sticky rice: delicious. rice was not hard and not overly drenched by coconut milk.

i have nightmares about green bell peppers. i hate food that's been touched or came in close proximity with green bell peppers. but the fried rice and tom yum spiciness covered up the bell peppers pretty well and i was starving... so props to that.

thai house is the worst restaurant ever, i've ordered panang curry and it takes them 5 minutes to get it ready worst than a 5 yr old cooking. I also ordered papaya salad and the old lady in the front who is the owner always changes the prices, it is different from the menu. i will not recommend this place to anyone its a waste of money. the food is horrible and expensive. whats out cuz the owner will over charge. dont go there bad food
