Thai Palms, Seattle, Washington Restaurant Details

Food:

A group of us went to the Thai Palms to support Plate of Nations and because their menu looked so good. We were not disappointed! We were ordering the special menu for the event, but because there was seven of us, they offered to give us a variety of dishes for the same price. The food is delicious! We viewed the regular menu and found the prices very attractive. We will definitely go back!

I have to say that I was disappointed in this restaurant experience. I'm new in the neighborhood and was hoping to discover a great new go-to stop for Thai. This isn't it. Service was good but for the first time ever, I actually sent back a dish. There was a smell of stale seafood coming from the kitchen as our food was prepared and the smell came to our table. We were initially served tepid tea - though it was replaced with hot tea when pointed out. Remaining dishes ordered were good, but not great. Very disappointed considering other good reviews.

We live about a block away and eat here all the time. Great Thai food and great friendly service for a good value.

I read all these reviews and thought, "oh great!" I was so excited to have found a great Thai place close by, authentic, and well reviewed. I ordered the red curry and a green papaya salad. The curry was lacking in flavor, other than the flavor of grease. The salad was floppy, small, over dressed, and not fresh. I will never eat here again.

This restaurant serves delicious authentic food at affordable prices. My fiance and I decided to try it out about 6 months ago. Now we're addicted to it! We can't help but return for the food is much too tempting. The staff is courteous and friendly. We always order the Khao Poon and Laos style Papaya salad. Their beef meatballs are divine as well as any of their curries. They have such a large selection to choose from and every dish is just as delicious as the last one. Definitely try this restaurant. You won't regret it. It's professional while creating a comfortable relaxed environment.
