Well-flavored Thai food is the attraction at this intimate, pleasant Downtowner turning out a standard roster of curries, stir-fries and rice plates; lunch specials and prices that are easy on the wallet keep the simple space packed during popular hours.

Had a great meal, paid cash then when given my change was told I gave $10 less than I did. I bartend I would never stiff someone but being stolen from & lied to is ridiculous.

This place is cozy, has a nice little atmosphere and the food is delicious. I sat at the bar and I had no complaints with the service, my server was pleasant and attentive...it was between lunch and dinner so it was not yet busy.

The cha yen (thai iced tea) was a refreshing change of pace. I've only had the pad med mamuang (chicken with cashew in a chili sauce) but it was delicious, the ingredients were fresh and veggies crisp and "vibrant" for lack of a better adjective. The wonton soup was also a pleasant surprise with fresh bean sprouts and cilantro. Next time I am in Portland I will definitely try other things on the menu.

Everything was very sweet.

Good overall but I felt there was just too much sugar in the dishes.

Good gluten free offers.

Thai Peacock's Pad Thai has ruined all other Pad Thai for me! The noodles were perfect and the sauce had so many flavors.
Peacock Curry was absolutely amazing, my husband ate the whole thing even after claiming to be full! We went in around 3pm and it took less than 15 minutes to get our food. Great service and atmosphere. So glad we happened upon this place after leaving Powell's.

After grabbing drinks at a bar on Mississippi we found ourselves scrambling to find a place still open on the night before Thanksgiving. We called in an order to Thai Peacock and they had everything prepared and ready to go in less than 10 minutes. The panang and green curry were well seasoned, had a nice consistency, and were not at all watery. The basil fried rice was perfectly done with a nice but no overwhelming kick.
