05/19/2015 12:58 pmWe used to live in the neighborhood and eat here once a week. The food is definitely among the best Thai food I've had. We still go back or get take out occasionally now that we've moved elsewhere in Arlington. The restaurant is unpretentious and pretty low key, in an unattractive bit of street-scape. No 16" triangular plates or gloss black walls. But the food is consistently good, and the staff open and friendly. On occasion we've wandered in (Sunday evening?) and the restaurant has been packed with folks I'm assuming were Thais. Always a good sign. |

05/10/2015 4:26 pmI ordered for pick up, the place seemed nice, but the food was less impressive. First off, the pad Thai smelled old and tasted worse. How you mess up pad Thai, I don't know, but they managed to do so. On top of that, I found a staple inside the pad Thai...a used staple. How it got there, I don't know as the food came covered in a plastic container...unless they repackaged it from someone else. There are some pretty good Thai places in VA, sadly, this is not one of them. |
