A spin-off of Kips Bay's Resto, this next-door butcher shop–cum–Belgian gastropub plies a "meat-heavy" menu of "superlative" small plates backed up by an "amazing" selection of brews; maybe the snug, communal table–equipped setting is "not comfortable", but few "headhunters" mind given the "swoon"-inducing chow.

Always a great experience. Beer selection is the best in Manhattan , and the meat-centric menu is mostly the grass-fed, house cured variety. Staff is very knowledgable without being pompous.

A well curated selection of beers coupled with amazing meats. I've been a number of times, and I am impressed every time. The meats are all made in house, and the beer choices seem unlimited. Highly recommend.

Bit overpriced for what it was, especially as we were sat in the cold (covered) beer garden in December. The Peking duck rillettes were the highlight of the meal, but everything else (the pork rinds, potato salad, chicory salad) were fine too. The blood sausage was pretty good, but got cold quickly in the chilly air.

I can't believe it has taken me so long to write a review about this place. It has quickly become one of my favorite NYC restaurants. I love the staff. I love how they play really bad Netflix movies. I love the fridges in front where you can choose obscure beers or choose from the taps. I love that a bottle of bubbly will only cost $40. I love their menu and want to eat everything on it. Next time I go I'm attempting to sit outside. The place is always crowded and the vibe is always awesome.

I really enjoy this place. You can grab beers as you like in any of their fridges or you can order from waiters. Although the last time I was here it seemed like all the staff was high. Especially, the host who sat a group that came after us and then when he realized he made a mistake he made them getup and sat us then made them wait 5 minutes to then sit them next two us. I am surprised the couple stayed through that circus. With that said this place still has a great vibe to it and is a good place to spend an evening or afternoon if you like meat, beer, or relaxing with a drink.
