The Cheesecake Factory, Baltimore, Maryland, Desserts Restaurant Details

"Folks need 15 minutes" just to "pore over" the "book"-length menu at this "perennial favorite" (indeed, it's ranked the Most Popular chain in Baltimore) that has lots of fans thanks to "scrumptious", midpriced American eats in "insanely large" portion sizes, including the "sinfully rich" signature cheesecakes; service is "prompt and courteous", and the "loud", "brassy", glitzy setting makes for a "lively" meal, though tables are tightly packed, and "eternal" waits "require patience."

While on vacation my family and I went to dinner at this Cheesecake Factory location. We have the same restaurant at home and have wonderful experiences but this was not the case. Upon entering the hostess was shoving a piece of bread into her mouth while looking annoyed that we were asking for a table for 3. It had been raining that day and we were brought to the section of the restaurant enclosed in a tent like section. After throwing our menus on table and annoyingly bringing a high chair to our table, my family and I sat down to look through the menu. Within a few seconds both my husband and I started to get dripped on my the leaky tent roof. We gave it a few moments before saying anything until I requested a new table. I found the lovely hostess who pleasantly rolled her eyes at me and rudely said "we don't have any other tables besides that section." I responded and said "we don't mind sitting in that section, we just need another table." We were given another table and about 10 min later our server finally came over and took our drink order. We ordered our food and it was brought over in a timely manner (by a very abrupt food runner). We started eating and got drink refills and everything seemed to finally be ok. My family and I were ready to order a cheesecake slice to go and get our check. Our server had about 3 tables in our section (all parties of 2 besides our table of 3) and did not return to our table for at LEAST 30 min. He ran/walked by our table multiple times but didn't ask us if we wanted boxes, our check.... ANYTHING. As my 2 year old started to get fussy, I decided to just go to the front counter to get cheesecake. I did that (the girl working that counter was wonderful) and our server still hadnt been to our table. I decided to head back to the hotel with my son while my husband sat at our table waiting for our server. Having been a server I realize how crazy things can get. But I also believe in being attentive to your customers and apologizing for delays and inconveniences. This was hands down the worst experience we've ever had. We will continue to go to Cheesecake Factory.... Just NEVER this location.

Service was absolutely amazing after trying some thing new that I kinda expected to taste a little diffrent than it did. They were more than happy to replace my order with one of my choice. Definitely will return soon.if u haven't been please try.

A guilty pleasure of mine. Even when there are so many great local Baltimore spots, sometimes I just want some high calorie pasta and cheesecake here. Nice decor, good service most of the time, and the cheesecake is good if you find the one for you. (or 5 in my case!)

The food we got at our table was very good. The service was fast and very hospitable. It put my friends and I into a food coma. Awesome sheeeit.

Went today for lunch and for National Cheesecake Day to get my favorite cheesecake for 1/2 price. The place was extremely busy. The line for cheesecake was out the door. But they worked very fast. We were in and out within an hour (we got our cheesecake to go)! Cheesecake was amazing!!
