The Elbo Room, Toledo, Ohio, Pizza Restaurant Details

Family of four including one child... We ordered the pizza how could we not it was what they are known for. My daughter received the spaghetti. Our waitress suggested that we get two pizza's since they only come in one size (12 in) and its more for personal use. Guess so when it comes on a paper-plate out to your table. Not classy by any means. Even Nick n Jimmy's comes out on a metal pizza pan. Plus ordering the "cheesy bread" is four small slices of Italian bread with melted mozzarella cheese not worth the 4 bucks it cost. Took over 45 minutes to get our "personal sized" pizza's and spaghetti and the manager over heard me complain about it to my family she was nice enough to comp the kids meal and one drink for the wait and apologized. My hungry child didn't even like her spaghetti and traded it in for chicken fingers..Pizza was paper thin just like the plate it came on.. Best part... . My white Russian was made correctly and very yummy. For the good drink and for the manager feeling bad about our wait time I'm giving this place 3 stars. However, I wont go back for the food again... I'll keep myself up at the bar and just enjoy a few cocktails.

I first eat at the Elbo Room about 50 years ago when i use to go to work with my dad on Sat mornings when it was on Sylvania Ave.I moved to Fl 30 yrs. ago and only got back to Toledo a few times and head for Elbo Room as soon as possible. I wish you were here in Fl because its still the best pizza ever and miss so much!

If you like very thin crust...this is the VERY BEST done like pastry and sooooo good - almost flaky. There is only one (1) size which is that of a paper plate, and a wide variety of toppings are available as expected. You will NOT be disappointed in that or the full bar selection.
They also have other sandwich selections as well as spagetti and chili-mac.
We have always had good food at Elbo Room!
