Server was Summer, fantastic waitress with a friendly personality. Made you feel like someone and not just another customer.

Atmosphere is amazing, nails the classic Irish pub theme with actually being a classic Irish pub.

Food is great, lots of simple traditional Irish meals, doesn't try to be something it isn't like other pubs. Its an Irish pub, plain and simple, not chef ramsays $$$$ resturant.

Great atmosphere, friendly service. They are playing Irish music and the food rocks! Save room for the bread pudding, it's the best I've had in a long time!

Pretty authentic irish food! Or so I would think, considering I havn't been to Ireland yet. The point is, the food is good. Went with my cousins to check it out and we all enjoyed the goods.

It's a pretty dark pub, probably how it is in Ireland. Had some TV's on to watch charger football, always a plus.

I ordered: The shepherds pie. It was really good! I thought it was better than the fish and chips. I love my shepherds pie and this place keeps that love intact.

A little bit steep on the prices but that wont stop me from going back and trying a few other items out.

I've overlooked this space since there's another Irish bar on the same block, same side of the street. However, a suggestion from my guy directed me here for lunch. The inside is dark and tavern-y (for lack of a better word). It is the kind of place where you could easily drink a few pints and lose track of the time.

Since I had to go back to work, I did not partake in beer drinking but instead their menu offering of half sandwich. The fish sandwich was delicious, if not a bit messy. The fish still had a firmness to it and just the right amount of batter. The potato leek soup was tasty and on a cold day would sure hit the spot if served in a bread bowl.

We had great service and should have visited a few days sooner for St. Patrick's Day. Oh well, there's always next year.

Every now and again I like to visit an Irish Pub. It's just something about the hearty food and good beer.

I have to admit that I've only been here a couple of times, but the Shepard's Pie here is outstanding. Pair that with a glass of Smithwick's or Guinness and you have a great lunch (or dinner). The Guinness Beef Stew is equally as delicious.

The place is kind of dark, but we sat by the door to get some of the sunlight that was coming in. The upstairs seating is nice as well, especially if you have a larger group.

The location is great, on 5th between Market and Island. After lunch we strolled around downtown to work off some of the great food we just ate.

The prices are fair. I think it was about $25 for lunch for two plus beers.

If you're in the area and in the mood for some Irish fare, I'd recommend stopping by.

Also, as we just learned the happy hour menu is available before the Padres games. It was a great place to meet up and have some food and beer before the game.

Brought over from Ireland and reassembled in the Gaslamp, this "dark, cozy" Irish pub is an "oasis" from the "put-on, chic clubs" nearby, offering "authentic, hearty" fare and beer from "friendly" staffers who know "how to pull a pint"; "can't-beat prices" further explain why it attracts a "constant" crowd of revelers.
