If you're portuguese and miss home cooking this is the place. Authentic portuguese foods from soup to desserts.

I go for the Portuguese Corner menu. The linguiça soup is my favorite, but I wish it had more linguiça! Another San Francisco gem, they are open late and serve affordable diner food all night long.

I have been coming here for 11 years and my hearth was broken when I learn the owner sold it. What gives me hope is that he guarantee me that the new owner will keep the orginal recepies and the food will be the same. To the owner: what a great place, enjoy retirement

Very nice staff and awesome ambiance. I loved the food, it's open late, and always busy! Definitely the spot for late night and after hours. A must try!

Fantastic portions and pricing. Great chicken wings. Kitchen is open till 4am on weekends so the perfect place for snack after some bar-hopping. Great portions for desert, tasty. Small beer list. Good house-made hot sauce. Can't beat Grubstake if you're looking for a good bite late at night.
