I came here with a friend to catch up while enjoying some happy hour specials. When I got in and asked the bartender [the only person working there on a Monday evening around 7pm] if I can just grab a seat anywhere [the bar was the only place that was packed], she just grunted. I guess I can understand why she was less than pleasant but in the same vein, shouldn't there be more than one person to seat people, take/bring orders and manage the bar during Happy Hour?

They have very good Happy Hour specials, like $2 chicken tacos, 50cents wings, $6 cheese quesadillas and drink specials. The Monday night we went, the happy hour specials lasted all night. My friend and I mostly ordered off the regular menu. I got the chicken tenders [a generous panko breaded portion], 2 chicken tacos and one shrimp taco [the chicken was a lot better but the chicken felt tough and hard to chew perhaps it was a bit stale or sitting out for a while] and mozzarella sticks, which was 5 1-inch thick servings but I feel it was a bit expensive at $9 a serving. But I guess it was one of those nights where you have to treat yourself and not let cost efficiency get you down. My friend got the Philly Sliders which she enjoyed but didn't like the sweet peppers they added. She also ordered tater tots, which was a hefty portion especially for $9. They were enough to feed a table of 3 as a drinking snack.

The drinks we were ordered were okay. I ordered an Old Fashioned and the bartender said they ran out of bitters. Overall, the drink was too sweet and didn't have much of a kick. My friend's Gin and Tonic was alright but wasn't strong enough for her liking. Overall, we might visit again even if its just to take advantage of the cheap tacos if Blockheads is packed.

I came here for a meetup it was packed and the DJ was good. The chicken tacos are super yummy. I also recommend the margaritas.

Close to school, this is where Baruch grad students eventually end up after some other school social. Honestly, there's nothing too special about this place, except the daily specials (huh?) It's a good neighborhood spot and the bar doesnt get rowdy. Overall a good spot if you want a decent conversation over drinks.

I went here for my friend's surprise birthday. What's nice is that they gave us the entire upstairs for the birthday party, and threw in a free bottle of champagne.
There were also drink deals - $15 pitchers of beer.
The staff was okay, and the area is okay. I wouldn't come back here since it's very average.

Great sports bar although don't expect to get any seating on a Fri or Sat night. Place gets packed to a point where people are leaning out the door. However they do have outdoor seating. Usually it's the typical young Murray Hill type that goes to The Hill. Beer tubes are great for a small group to share. Also they have gigantic tater tot portions.
