03/15/2015 9:04 pmFirst, a warning. If you're in a hurry this is not the place to go. I love this place, but the service is ALWAYS slow. Even if you call you order in ahead of time you're guaranteed a wait. However, I've been going there for years and have never had a disappointing meal. The food is fresh and made with great ingredients right there behind the counter. Everything is good and the servings are ample. Excellent West-Indian flavors and lick the plate, suck the bone, delicious! If service were a little more efficient I'd give it 5 stars. |

12/06/2014 7:19 pmwhen I'm getting takeout, I almost always come here to eat. Service is great and food taste really good. I recommend for any new comers to try the oxtail, jerk chicken, salmon, and curry goat. the only down side is that if u want to dine in, the place is very small. take area waiting area is also small. other than that u will be licking ur chops in happiness. |

09/21/2014 6:32 pmStopped by here before heading into the Brooklyn Museum and the food was well portioned, though not that appetizing. Nevertheless, the service was gruff but friendly and we were able to grab our food and go. I had the curry goat and will admit that when I first took a bite, thought it was perhaps the best goat I had tasted. Upon further consumption and combined with the just okay sides, I thought it was still a good dish but not something terribly wowing. The jerk chicken definitely had a kick but somehow the dishes just weren't as powerful as I think they could be. With a bit more kick and spice in the beans / rice and the vegetables, I think this place could be on to something great. Still a cool place to go when you're on the go. |

07/01/2014 11:09 pmMy wife and I ordered take-out from this restaurant as it is very small with few tables. The spicy home-cooked aromas can be sensed as you walk up the street. The FOOD IS FANTASTIC!! We had Jerk Chicken (w/rice & cabbage), Ox Tail (rice & cabbage) and an extra side of mac and cheese. The moist chicken was spiced perfectly and the flavorful ox tail fell off the bone. The baked mac and cheese had a crunchy topping and was yummy. I highly recommend this place. Do not leave Brooklyn before having this food. |

01/26/2014 11:02 pmYou have to be patient, because you will wait for your food quite a long time. But once the food is there, you know it was worth waiting for! And the atmosphere of the place is unique and the ladies who cook the food absolutely lovely!!! Thank you, we had great time and we definitely will be back. |
