Excellent in the times I was there in past with Jim Cullums band now they are NOT there and there is supposedly a Latin jazz place called the worm that will open up but now -- nada and I am bummed

5 stars for the jazz (when they play), 1 star for the weak margaritas we had. I haven't had the food.

This place is the best place to go in San Antonio, especially on weekends when the Jim Cullum Band plays. It's got great food, great drinks, and wonderful Dixieland jazz going on.

Get a reservation that afternoon or early evening, if you can. It's a smoking restaurant, so get ready to tolerate some fumes. The bathroom doesn't smell good, either, so sit far from the facilities.

I wish I'd read the bad reviews before I wasted my money on the hideous food, bad drink or service that managed to be inattentive, rude,and incompetent. It gets no star from me.
