06/16/2013 11:47 pmMe and my fiancé went out for lunch and ended up at the linker, our first time there. When we arrived the ambiance was great, we thought for sure there would be good food and good spirits. |

05/22/2013 9:29 pmFor a place that makes their own bread, sauerkraut and cures their own meat, I was excited to order their reuben. BIG GIANT disappointment - -I plan to write them with some well intended feedback. BUT in the meantime, the bread is way too thick and extremely skimpy on the sauerkraut and meat. Not sure why I didn't turn it back to them - every bite of meat had too much gristle to chew, so had to spit it out. Not enough sauerkraut to even taste - - I'm just shaking my head in disbelief as I write this. NO WAY is this sandwich worth $15 - I would personally be embarrassed to serve their little round chocolate dessert cookies... So far this place is 2 good experiences out of 4 - not consistent. Sorry guys. |

04/15/2013 12:43 pm$$$$$$ Too expensive for what you get and the sub-par service. Be aware they automatically add an 18% gratuity, which they do not post, nor tell you about beforehand. |

06/23/2012 8:12 pmThe menu is insane and the food is top quality. I tried one of their bitter beers which they have a large selection of and that was an expirience in its own. Very unique tasting style of beer. My party left stuffed and satisfied. |

01/30/2012 12:15 pmThe place has a good message (farm to table) but the execution is always off somehow. Jay Porter, the owner, is an elitist tool. If you don't like the food, you are to blame. Check Yelp reviews to get a real sense of the place. Writers from outside SD seem to always point to this place as best in SD, but most SD residents despise this place. Overpriced, underserviced, totally overrated. |
