Not fancy, but good "diner" type american food and very reasonably priced. Full breakfast was basically $8.

The Smithfield Cafe is a great place to fell at home. The food is traditional and delicous now that the place is non-smoking. THe decor is a little dated but the food is good and that is what matters. The waitress we had was very friendly and helpful.

This is a very friendly place and gives good value for the price. The owner, despite some past reviews, is a decent person who really does care about his customers.

Don't avoid this place on the basis of past reviews, which are the result of those who have an agenda. Do patronize this establishment if you want good food for the price and a friendly atmosphere.

They have been in business for close to 100 years and there is a reason.
