The Spaghetti Warehouse, Houston, Texas, Italian Restaurant Details

Food:

We were seated quickly but service took forever. Need to work on their customer service. We ordered sweet tea 3 times and it was wrong all 3 times. Food was OK.

Food:

(Houston) Arrived for the first time to this establishment to be seated right away , which was great for us being that we have two children . After being seated we were greeted by three different servers , none of which took our drink order until we requested our own refreshments be brought to us. At that point 20 minutes passed by with no drinks brought to our table. By then another server came over and gave bread to us . Our server came over and took our order , we asked for an appetizer , and our meal (for two the Italian dish) wedding soup and a salad , kids Mac and cheese with apple sauce . Not a difficult order . Our server was nice but just seemed to have been either over loaded with tables (or the place was severely understaffed on a Friday night) either way his kindness went unnoticed at some point through the evening because he seemed to have just disappeared . We had to grab the attention of another server across our table in order to get a refill . And a drink for my husband who's cup was taken and never brought back . Our appetizer did not come until 20 min later. We were pretty much full off the bread at this point . After our appetizer .... We sat for 30 minutes with nothing at our table . Empty drinks and restless children because our server never came back. We asked the server across from us if she could find out how long it would be for our food. She immediately went to find out and within minutes our server showed up and placed our soup and salad and my sons applesauce on the table .... We finished , another 35 minutes went by and we had once again no beverages and we're having to wait for our food. At this point we were ready to grab the check pay and leave . 20 minutes passed by and then our food and server finally came to the table . We ate some of meal and left half of it because we truly weren't even hungry or in the mood to eat there anymore, we just wanted to leave already. I've never felt like this before at a restaurant it was not a good experience . The worst part was , we just wanted to leave so badly and yet we still couldn't because we had to wait for our check to pay 20 minutes , then wait 15 more minutes just to get them to cash us out. My husband stayed at the table alone while I took the kids to the front and entertained them as best as I could to keep them happy. My husband ended up leaving the table to come check on us in the front lobby and had to track down a manager to request a payment be taken so we could leave . They removed our appetizer (which was supposed to be free already because I downloaded the app and it stayed we would get it already) and our drinks ... Wow! We didn't care what we had to pay we just wanted to leave so badly. After 3 hours of pretty much just waiting at our table for each item to arrive who would want to stay and complain any longer ... I Can't complain about the food it was great. I Just wish the service would have been so much better to have given our family a great experience . My son was saddened , because we were there for so long we couldn't take him to do anything afterwards it was too late. He stated "I never want us to come back here again please" 6 years old . -Ryan

Had a Birthday party for my daughter there today....Had 2 servers working our party... not once did anybody have to wait for refills and food was brought out in a timely manner... was HOT and good size portions everyone was full off their plate and even had left overs to take home because of the serving size..not one complaint from our guests... One Server of ours was GLORIA she was very friendly and .... did an AWESOME JOB.... She answered lots of questions we had about the restaurant, not one tone of frustration ( thinking they do this everyday they would be tired of answering questions, but not her... :) she was always smiling and asking if we needed anything else.... we also went upstairs and the kids stop another waiter asking questions and she stop what she was doing and told us a few stories of her encounters while working... OVERALL....Great service and very pleased at how friendly the workers were..... :)
(Oh if u sign up for birthday club you receive a meal and sundae>> email u will receive a free appetizer>>and mobile text you will receive a free brownie sundae... I SUGGEST everyone sign up for the text and show your waiter and everyone gets to get a free sundae) everyone can use their text..... HOPE you have the same experience as us....

Food:

Delicious hot-spot in downtown Houston. Parking lot next door is free except M-F 9-5, but is very pothole-y and sloped down towards the bayou. Food inside is delicious and hot, servers are attentive and friendly, prices are somewhat high but not unreasonable for a downtown restaurant. Private events can be hosted upstairs where more seating is located.

Food:

A must have of in Houston. Historic and legendary with Houston. Absolutely worth at least one visit. Food is great, and the wait staff is highly professional yet personable.
