Located near historic Faneuil Hall this classed-up spot boasts American Revolution–inspired interior and elevated "cookery" including "vittles" like lobster pie and venison chili made with Harpoon stout. Powdered wigs would approve of cocktails like the rum-drenched Old Grog and craft brews flowing from 24 plus taps, with handles shaped like Colonial-era guns.

Had dinner with friends. Everyone enjoyed there meals. The beer selection was a nice mix of all New England beers. The waiter was helpful and fun. I will defiantly stop in again!

One of the most well thought out beer selection I've seen in a while. I liked that I could try samplers of beer, although I did find them to be a little pricey. I was not expecting to see Naughty Nurse on draft in downtown Boston... good choice! The waitress and another guy who worked there were both very friendly and helpful, not only in choosing from their ample selection, but also recommending a good liquor store where I could purchase craft beer.

Waitress was horrible. Very rude. Took 20 minutes to get Bloody Mary and brought wrong one. Spilled beer all over my dad and didn't explain was his flight was. Don't come here unless you're cool with getting the wrong order and waiting a long time for it.

Very welcoming - good selection of beers. Burger was excellent. Good banter with the bar staff. A place to rest and take timeout while exploring Boston.

Gourmet Food in a pub atmosphere - almost a 'Gastropub'. Lovely flavors well combined by excellent chef in a real brewpub. The downtown Tap Trailhouse reopened in September with a great new menu that tastes even better than it sounds. A wonderful gourmet twist on New England food sandwiched (literally) between the 'Union Oyster House' and the 'Bell in Hand' near Faneuil Hall. The best Bluefish pate I have tasted and lovely Lobster Pie. Tasty glazed duck with herbed pease pudding and wonderful grilled trout. For Desert Indian Pudding with creamy Blueberry Gelato and individual Apple Pockets that taste like Tarte Tatin. Amazing range of beers including their own brand.
