Food:

3/19/16- Our table ordered two filets cooked medium rare. one was good the other looked like it just came out of the refrigerator. Sent it back and was told mgr. would come to table (standard procedure). Manager never came and new steak was still under done but edible. As two of us sat there while the third finished her meal we asked for bill. The "problem steak" was on the bill. I called the waitress back to explain how the manager should have handled the situation. First apoligize, then take the meal off the bill, then maybe a round of drinks for those of us that had to sit there an additional 30 minutes. I'm a regular at YP, but there are just two many restaurants in Nashville to waste time on poor service. P.S. whats up with the cramped seating... Need a helicopter to drop you in your chair!

Food was OK but service was poor. Told our server what we wanted to order and 20 minutes later she comes back and ask if we are ready to order. Slow service all night. I don't think I will be going back.

The food was delicious at our meal tonight, however the service was lacking in every way. Our server (Carissa - name obtained from the receipt) never greeted us, never asked if we had any questions, never checked on us at all during the night. We were greeted with "are you ready to order?" after being at the table for about 10 minutes with no one paying attention to us. Our meal was brought out before we were half way through our appetizers. Our plates were never cleared from the table. We are frequent diners, and expect there to be a competent level of service especially when paying these prices. While we completely enjoyed the food, it will be hard for us to choose to go back to The Yellow Porch because the service was so disappointing.

Food:

Good food and affordable prices, particularly for lunch. Really great soup, try the celery and blue cheese. It's also a cool environment. The restaurant is filled with art--available for purchase and created by one of the staff members.

Great experience! The service was perfect, portion sizes exactly what I wanted, and an amazing wine selection (try the Promiscuous)! I will definitely be coming back...often.
