03/06/2016 12:28 amMy husband and I had found a coupon and after looking at their menu we decided to give it a try. We were very disapointd. I ordered French onion soup, salad, and the vegetable penne. My soup was just ok. My first salad went back because there was so much water at the bottom that it watered down my dressing. My entrée, which I figured would have been tossed in olive oil and other spices but it tasted bland like it was made with vegetable oil and a little parsley. Very tasteless and forgettable. My husbands salmon was okay but was served on a pile of dry brown rice mixed black beans which he did not eat. His tortilla soup was the only thing that wasn't bad. Overpriced. |

03/11/2014 6:11 pmDont bother with the wings there terrible. Went on a tuesday (all you can eat wing day) first order were burnt, way over cooked but ateast they came with sauce. The next 2 were dry and covered in a dry salty flour batter or something. I ordered buffalo hot they were salty mild at best. I dont under stand how you can screw up putting hot sauce on chicken. Another in our party got the mushroom swiss burger that looked good and he said it tasted good. Then he tried my wing then he couldnt get rid of the salty grim left in his mouth which ruined his lunch as well. They took my plate when I was commenting on the third complete failure before I was able to get the grim off my hands and snap a picture. I wont ever go back, they dedicate a day to a menu item and its garbage, not worth the risk, time, or money. Not to mention how rude and ignorant the other workers were when I was trying to describe what was obviously visible. Our waiter was polite though she should find a better place to work so shes not in the middle of such a situation I would give her 5. They also had a tard with an oxygen tank constantly walking by open flames and hot grills a leak or a wrong move would of killed every one in the place they should be put in jail. |

07/30/2013 2:40 pmAfter reading and hearing mixed reviews about this place, my family and I decided to check it out for ourselves. We discovered that what everyone said was true. Too bad, because I really wanted to like this place. The decor is done in old diner style, but not in a good way. The restroom was clean, but dated and somewhat falling apart. Toilet paper holders were hanging askew. I could not get the automatic paper towel feeder to work, so I pulled on the edge of the towel, and the holder almost fell off the wall. The service is mediocre at best with the hostess sitting at the bar with her feet up, drinking iced tea and reading a book. Our waitress was in charge of the dining room and patio area, making her scarce and relatively inattentive. Both talked about customers. The bright side was the food. I had the Thai style stir fry with shrimp. Everything on my plate was cooked very well: shrimp tender, veggies crisp tender, and brown rice not mushy. But, it cost $16 for 8 shrimp, a cup of rice, and less than a cup of veggies! I ordered off the dinner menu and received a lunch portion at a dinner price. The sandwiches we ordered were well priced and properly prepared. However, the potato salad was dry and gross, but the chips tasty. If you come to this place, I recommend either take out or lunch. With so many other better options around, I do not plan to return to Through the Garden. |

07/05/2012 5:40 amI ate there a few days ago and I will never go back! The food was very bad, the service was okay, and the prices are insane. The owner is rude and has no personality. I asked him if I could have my house salad remade because it was not fresh and he just walked away!!! I also found a hair in my food and the dishes are very dirty looking. The place is falling apart. I will never go back and would never reccomend this to anyone. |
