Tasty Mexican fare and out-of-this-world margaritas (the tequila list boasts more than 80 varieties) keep fans returning to this funky spot in River Oaks; a relaxed vibe inside extends to the patio, which is lovely in the evenings.

I would never go back or tell anyone to try this place. We were the only table in the restaurant the whole time and still had to ask for refills and more drinks. Also, they use tostitos for their chips. Nothing authentic about that.

It's a nice looking restaurant and I like that we can bring our dogs. This was our first and last time visiting this place. The service and the food is not that great. When our waiter asked what we wanted to drink, he assumed right away that we only wanted water. They take too long to bring you the drinks. The margaritas taste like lemonade. The presentation of the plate was creative, but the food was too salty. Then, we wanted to order some other kind of alcohol brevage, and they said they could not serve alcohol after 10pm. The manger on duty gave us a lame excuse on why the bar was closed. She said, "we're tired and we want to clean up and go home." Very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They need to retrain the whole staff.

Came here for brunch with my wife and new puppy and had a great time and enjoyed the food and service. They give you chips with small plantains made fresh. We started with a fruit plate which was crisp and fresh. I had the heovos bendictos which was amazing! Probably one of best I had in Houston. Wife had a egg white dish that pretty good as well.

They also have live music that a real treat and the decor - ambience is great for sitting on the patio.

The drinks are a bit pricey tho. Definitely would recommend to a friend. It's a hidden gem and try the heovos bendictos!

My wife and I love the eggs dishes. The banana and other bread basket is delicious. We have enjoyed all of the meals that we have had there.

Our favorite times are Saturday and Sunday mornings. It is not hectic and one can enjoy conversation in a pleasant atmosphere.

The wait staff have always been courteous and very helpful without being too much so.
We have recommended Tila's to friends and they have reported being pleased with the food and service.

We look forward to our next experience there. It is worth the minor inconvenience of the construction. Don't let that stop you from enjoying this unique restaurant.

Hands down the best Mexican food and Margaritas inside the loop (the Margaritas are always fabulous but had it with Kah Reposado this time). Always a great experience when we go there. And thanks to our server Kimberly for recommending the Tres Chocolate - it was a delight.
