Tio Luis Tacos, Chicago, Illinois, Mexican Restaurant Details

Food:

The food is typical mexican fare, not sure why the high reviews on yelp because this place is pricier than the restaurants around it. They have a little parking lot off to the side, but if you go a little further west you will see a lot more choices.

I love that they have multiple vegetarian options! Great service and food...guacamole and salsa are delicious as well...

Overrated!!!! It used to be really good when they first open not anymore must be a different chef. But truly overrated and especially the guy who came on check please and talked about this place I think you need to take a little visit more on Kedzie down south or the one on 47 by Spaulding because this place is overrated!!!! Just save your money and go to 26 street or Ashland and 18.

No matter how many times I order from there they always get my order wrong whether I order in Spanish or English. Seriously Tio Luis, get your s*** together, hire competent staff or something because it getting ridiculous how often they get my orders wrong. It's like playing Mexican food roulette, I never know what they decide they are going to give me. After taking a year hiatus from them I remember why I stopped going.

Went out On A Friday Nite with Some Guests from out of town...We Ordered are 4 Meals and I had ordered there famous Tacos...My ordered came last and as I started eating I Found A Bug in my Tacos....the server came and looked at the Bug and said "Can I Bring You AnotherPlate" Seriously The entire staff looked at the plate with the bug and not one person came to our table to apologize and the best part is the girl at the register charged me for the Tacos that had the Bug in it....this Place is so bad in customer service....I am a pretty easy going person but I had to write this...seriously go eat at Taco Bell Instead cause this place is serving BUGS.
