Wonderful Calamari

I've become a regular at Tommy V's because I LOVE their Calamari. My favorite meal there is Fried Calamari and a yummy Caesar salad with a glass of wine. Their happy your starts at 11:00 am each day, and so having lunch from the happy hour menu is a first rate deal.

It is a lovely spot, and the service is outstanding. An additional plus for this Old Town Scottsdale restaurant is that they have their own parking lot.

We waited so long for the food to come. Also, the food isn't that good. Almost 95% of the customers their are 60 years old and older. So, don't go their if you are younger than that because you won't like it.

Went here for a business dinner last week in PHX. It's in a great location in Scottsdale, and has a modern, swanky vibe to it. All the food we ordered was great, including the off menu specials. Be sure to try the Tommy V's Pasta Trio or the Cannellonis (if available). Amazing wine selection, great outdoor seating, and excellent service topped off the evening for us!

We were supposed to go to a vegan place, 24carrots in downtown Tempe for lunch on our last day in town. Our timing got all out of whack and we ended up randomly choosing a restaurant in downtown Scottsdale for lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon. That restaurant was Tommy V’s at the entrance of downtown Scottsdale. And what a stroke of serendipity that was. We were treated to an excellent late lunch with great food and wonderful service that I wanted to definitely highlight.

Our waiter was excellent in his recommendations and attention to us. We started off with some bread warm off the oven. It was soft and tasty. For entrees, we ordered a lentil soup and a pear salad for me, a eggplant torta for my wife and a ravioli for the little guy. Each of the dishes was fantastic in its own way. The little guy polished off his ravioli. I loved my warm soup and a nice salad and my wife definitely enjoyed her eggplant. The waiter offered a complementary cannoli for the little guy who was thrilled and walked away happy and telling me how much he liked the place. If you are in the neighborhood, consider this a recommended place from me. Loved everything about it.

This is definitely one of the best Italian Restaurants in Scottsdale. My wife and I dined here on Saturday, and it was a very pleasant experience. I had the short ribs, and they melted in my mouth. They were so tender and juicy...I wish I didn't get full. Then the Tiramisu made our evening. It's simply incredible. This place should be standing room only. Also, the live jazz music created a great atmosphere. Those guys are good. We will definitely be back for more!
