Their fried fish is some of the best I've ever had. It's weird that I would talk about the fish, but it's absolutely exceptional.

The BBQ items are quite good as well. Not the best BBQ I've ever had, but it's good for the price.

Dat fish tho... SOOOOO GOOD!

My husband and I ate here our first night in on our trip and were blown away by their pulled porked sandwiches. I usually end up pulling half the pork out because it's too fatty but not here. It was great from the first bite to the last! Since we arrived about a minute before they closed they had already put the extra sa use condiments away -we just need to ask for them. Where most places need it because their pork is too dry, it was not the case here. They had the perfect amount already placed in the sandwich. It also come with coleslaw and my husband said it tasted great with it, very fresh. We let them know it was the best we've had in a very long time and they should come up and join the Reno Rib Cook-Off in August, we think the have a wonderful shot at winning!
And the best compliment to give them, besides telling those we meet along our week long trip about going there, is we went back for seconds too! Great friendly staff too! Thanks guys! See you next year!

Chicago has nothing on the south.I've passed this place many times and finally stopped in today. I should of saved my money. First the cashier starts a conversation with the customer before ordering, took a good 4-5 minutes as the line is getting longer, on a friday. I got the 1/4 chicken dinner with mac n cheese and red beans and rice. Besides the sauce there is no flavor, no seasoning or rub. the mac n cheese is processed mac and cheese, the most dissapointing. And the red beans is all beans very little rice, watery with no meat or sausage or vegtables like onions or celery nothing. The peach cobbler was decent but I don't think I tasted brown sugar or cinnamon, very bland crust and the peaches are cut way too big for such a little amount of crust. I hate to compare but I was very disappointed in the meal for 11 and not even a drink.
